Dear Santa: (the colon means business, not friendly)

I know that John and I like to spoil surprises by maybe hinting or giving gifts early. However, I was not ready to accept your early Christmas gift of our heater breaking 2 days before it went down to 28 at night.

It's not that I'm not thankful for having to buy a brand new heater/air conditioner system 2 weeks before your big day, I just wish you could have waited until I wasn't already spending so much money!

For Christmas this year, I get the lucky prize of a brand new heater! Lucky me! Thanks Santa!
